I was helping carry this piece of equipment hiking out from location the other day right at dark, when out of all the pebbles, twigs and grains of sand, this light streak in this piece of wood caught my eye and called out to me. I backed up and picked it up and put in my pocket. When I got home i discovered it was a fragment of a petrified branch. I began to wonder what was the weather like the day that branch fell or what caused it to be ripped apart. Then i realized that an ancient past had called out to me and connected. How amazing life is...there is a GOD and i ain't him....

..i woke this morning and looked in the mirror, feeling kinda down.. Watched this video...Went outside and took a look about town. Oh, oh, pretty brown people I see you all around. As I was leaving, going out of town. I noticed the tanning beds were full...brown must be in, all around town...two lumps please, make it sweet!
...yeah i said it..........

December 15 2012, the Upton family lost one of our anchors. Douglas C. Upton, finished his journey. He affected all that he came in contact with. From collegiate to corporate, the family and the garden. He poured 110% of himself into whatever he did. I will forever be indebted to him. From his money, his time, his knowledge, yes most of all his love for me, he gave me his very best. Uncle Doug, I will love, miss you or never forget you...

Don't hate the player...hate the game! America has spoken, stop looking back, cuz we're moving forward. This is democracy at work. Congress get off your cassh, and work with him, and repair this nation and stop trying to make the black guy look bad. America said last night, he's cool with them, so quit tripping and move on. Oh, all you church folk...pray for your leader, not talk about him. God Bless America, Colorado and Washington!
